No Time For A Pipe.

No Time For A Pipe.

The four hobbits Frodo, Sam, Merry and Pippin break camp on the out skirts of the the shire. Frodo and Sam can be seen striding off into the distance while Merry encourages Pippin to hurry up (no time for a pipe) so as not to fall behind. On the opposite bank of the river under the cover of trees a black rider watches.

The painting is inspired by the early chapters of J.R.R Tolkien's The Fellowship Of The Ring and Peter Jackson's Film adaptation.

Original oil on quality canvas.
33cm x 24cm.

This painting can be purchased via Festival in the shire, just e-mail for details.
