A acrylic/oil sketch/idea for the Grey Havens that never really got going.
Where possible I always try and draw inspiration from real life and add a fantasy twist, The Grey Havens is a perfect example of this; Venice, Capri and Cadiz (capital city of where I now live) all acted as inspiration for a recent painting.
The Phoenicians, Romans, Moors and Spanish have all influenced the architecture of Cadiz at various points through history and makes for a very unique style.
