Autumn in the shire (Bag End)
As the sun sets over the shire the fires at Bag End are stoked in eager anticipation of supper. In the distance "The Mill", with its large water-wheel sits idle, Sandyman the Miller having finished for the day.
The texture was created by using Andalucian earth and modelling paste. Painted in acrylics on canvas.
